Quapaw Public Schools sent out the annual Impact Aid Parent Survey Forms on Friday.  We would appreciate parents filling the forms out and having their child return the form to school by Tuesday.  Thank you for your assistance in helping the Quapaw Public Schools.

Congratulations to the Quapaw High School Cheerleaders for receiving the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association Academic Achievement Award.  Not only do they do a great job cheering on the teams throughout the year, but they are outstanding student athletes.  Keep up the great work!

The new and improved Quapaw FFA sign on the south end of town. Thanks to all the kids that helped. They learned how to paint, wire solar power lights together and most important safety on the roadside.

A big thank you to the Quapaw Elementary Staff who came in a day early to learn how to foster even greater relationships with their students during the 2019-20 school year by using the Sanford Harmony program.  This researched based program identifies practical strategies, stories, activities, and lessons for improving relationships, teaching empathy, increasing student confidence and reducing bullying.

Several staff members from Quapaw Public Schools and Grand Lake Mental Health are involved in a statewide Oklahoma School Climate Transformation project that provides training in the implementation this fall of a multi-tiered behavioral framework. More information will be coming about this grant project in August

Quapaw had three staff members (Mr. Dawson, Mrs. Price and Mr. Loyd) attend the National ISTE Conference in Philadelphia June 23-27. They will be sharing many valuable technology resources this coming school year.
Mr. Loyd won a classroom set of free Chromebooks for the Quapaw School District provided by Tech TradeUp




A big thank you to Integris on the $750 donation to Quapaw Athletics.




Student Dress Code Policy
The Student Dress Code Policy has been updated to include some new language:

6. Appropriateness of all shorts, jeans, slacks, pants, leggings and yoga pants will be left to the discretion of the building administrator.  Clothing deemed by the administrator to cause a substantial disruption to school operations will not be allowed.
